Today I'm offering up my very first OOTD post, eeeeek! I apologise for the lack of great photo quality; I'm still trying to get used to using my camera 'properly' (rather than just pointing and clicking!) - hence the slightly blurry shots and difference in lighting!
The dress itself is a (questionable number of!) years-old little black dotty number from Warehouse with sweet puff sleeves, button detailing and what I would call a cowl back (although I wouldn't suggest taking my word for it!). It is also gathered at the waist (ok, yes, it's elasticated!) which means it's super-comfortable! Today I paired it with some run-of-the-mill black tights, my trusty Accessorize necklace (which they don't seem to stock any more) and my favourite New Look bow hair-band (again, can't find it online - I purchased it late last year in a sale). I'm not one for a lot of accessories, mainly due to the fact that I always forget to put them on, so instead I stick with scarves to add a little bit of colour and pattern.
Do any of you have a dress/outfit/accessory etc. which you always fall back on?

These two photos made me giggle so I had to keep them in. The one on the left - in which I'm minus a hair-band but plus a knotted Topshop jumper - I took before I realised I had kept my (odd - didn’t I tell you I love them?!) socks on.
The one on the right is my ‘oh haaaiiiii, I’m so happy I’m wearing a dress’ pose!
I really like the shape of the sleeves, it looks so lovely on you I always fall back on my lace white dress from monki, practical and elegant.
